Your initial appointment will consist of a periodontal examination, consultation explaining your diagnosis and treatment options. A medical history will be taken. Please bring the following:

- a list of any of the medications you take
- the referral slip given to you by your dentist
- any x-rays your dentist may have taken

If your dentist has taken digital x-rays, please inform us at the time of scheduling your appointment. We can arrange for them to be emailed to us prior to your appointment time.

Please inform reception if you have an artificial joint, heart valves or any other condition that may require antibiotics before dental treatment or cleanings.

We try our best to stay on schedule to minimize your waiting; however, as Dr. Kushner provides various types of services including surgery, circumstances may arise that could lengthen the time allocated for a procedure. We appreciate your understanding and patience.
